Doing Nothing

“There was something formless and perfect
before the universe was born.

It is serene.

Empty.

Solitary.

Unchanging.

Infinite.

Eternally present.

It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
I call it the Tao.”

The above lines are from the famous book Tao Te Ching – Verse 25.

I am not going to explain them.
And I am definitely not going to write anything about the title “Doing Nothing” either.

Today is not meant to do anything.
For me or you.

So I am not going to lecture on the topic or the above lines, because a lot has already been said and written about them.

One should just relax.

And allow the nerves to calm down and accept,
that sometimes it’s okay to do nothing.

So today, just sit.

And

Enjoy.

This moment.
This day.
This life.

With a hot cup of tea!
