The Prologue

Tea Time Reads . . .
A quiet diary of imperfect thoughts
That was never meant to be found.

Nothing about it suggests it was written for an audience.
The pages move in order — as they were lived.

If you wish to understand the voice, begin at beginning.
The earliest entries are quiet — but they are where the voice first forms.

These pages hold small observations of ordinary days.

Thoughts written before they were polished.

Moments of doubt, discipline and stillness,
and questions left unanswered.

Because sometimes, tea tastes just as good
even if the cup isn’t perfect.

You don’t need to read everything.
You don’t need to agree with everything.

If one paragraph stays with you longer than expected — that’s the point.

Read slowly.
Start with the first page.

Time moves forward here. . . .
And I write as it does.

That you may, if you like, enjoy with a cup of tea!
