And I’m lying on my bed after a long 8-hour shift.
Eyes wide open. Trying to sleep.
But I can’t.
My mind keeps going back to her.
Where is she?
It was a usual day at work… until I realised something.
It had been a long time since I had seen her.
So I got curious.
Is she on leave?
Is she sick?
I was just curious about her absence.
But little did I know…
the real reason was far from what I thought.
When she first smiled at me, I panicked.
She got pissed.
And ever since then, she was cold towards me.
As if she expected me to approach her…
and say sorry for ruining the moment.

For today, I found out why she is not to be seen anywhere.
She has left the job!
I don’t know where she is.
Or how she’s doing.

I didn’t even get a chance to say Good Bye.

To give her a proper farewell.
But lying here tonight… I realise something.
The truth is—
I never actually said Hi.
So today, I just want to say this to you.

Just go.
Find an excuse.
Say Hi.
Start a small conversation.
